There's a new collection called Kink by Osko and Deichmann that will be on display in Berlin soon. The Helmrinderknecht Gallery for Contemporary Design will have all the pieces on display. Each piece in the Kink series uses tubular steel and pine to create simple furniture that's not so simple to make.

Osko and Deichmann has created amazing furnishings with simple materials. Check out their site for more.

Implications - Consumers desire a way to stand out among their peers. Decorating their homes in a fashion that pushes the limits is an appealing method of doing this. Companies could focus on creating pieces with unconventional designs in order to appeal to those wishing to make a statement.
