The limited edition five in one meal box promoted by KFC India works to charge the mobile devices of their consumers as they eat.
The boxes were created in collaboration with Blink Digital, a digital agency that focuses on designing brand experiences that are out of the ordinary. A short commercial promotes 'Watt A Box,' following a young girl who is trying to get a friend's dating advice when her phone suddenly dies. She's essentially saved by her crispy chicken meal box that comes with a USB cable and a charging port.
Once she's enjoyed her food, her phone is charged and she is able to go back to her conversation. The campaign creates better brand awareness for consumers through the novelty product and prompts them to participate in buying and sharing the limited edition boxes at select KFC India locations.
