Clab4design of Brescia, Italy, took the opportunity to create a collection of objects that is both practical and pretty. The Kepler Lamps are contemporary spotlights that can be arranged in a cluster, either on the floor or on a raised surface. Not one of the five is identical to another, and three of them have integrated lightbulbs while the other two serve more or less aesthetically.
These rocky-looking objects with multifaceted surfaces have actually been made out of wood. They are crafted individually with straight cuts to produce many flat sides of various shapes that are defined by rectilinear edges. Because of this haphazard sculpting, each asymmetrical Kepler Lamp can be propped up at a different angle in order to illuminate artwork or activities and they can be easily adjusted by simply turning them over.
