McDonald's UK wants to help consumers start off 2021 on a flavorful note with its new Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets.
For those unfamiliar, Chicken Katsu is a Japanese dish that consists of a chicken fillet breaded with flour, egg, and Japanese panko breadcrumbs, then deep-fried until golden brown. McDonald's UK has used this classic Japanese dish as the inspiration for its new Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets, which are set to launch on December 30, 2020. The new nuggets consist of chicken coated in Japanese-style Panko breadcrumbs and then fried until crispy. Each box of nuggets is also served with a side of sweet curry sauce for dipping.
