The McDonald's Japan Puripuri Ebi Purio are an upcoming menu item for patrons to try out as an alternative to the brand's signature McNuggets. The menu item features breaded, bite-sized nuggets that are packed with shrimp to give them a delicious and satisfying profile for seafood fans alike to appreciate. The shrimp nuggets are being promoted with a commercial featuring actress Sairi Ito alongside a mummy, werewolf and Frankenstein's monster to coincide with their release during the autumn season.

The McDonald's Japan Puripuri Ebi Purio come in five-piece orders and will make their formal debut starting September 20, 2023 but will only be around for a short time. The nuggets are priced at 260 yen and are expected to be right at home within the brand's existing menu items like the signature Filet-O-Fish.
