Murderous Cereal Mascots

These Cereal Boxes by Kate Willaert Feature Punny Serial Killer Cartoons

Minnesota-based artist Kate Willaert designed a series of cereal boxes that feature murderous characters in celebration of the Halloween season. The artist made these pun-inspired cereal boxes to reveal serial killers from iconic movies and TV shows.

Some of the boxes feature horrific characters such as Freddy Krueger from ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ and Jason Voorhees from ‘Friday the 13th.’ While Freddy is famous for his knife-carrying hands, the cereal box depicts him as a cartoon character who carries spoons to eat his breakfast with.

The entire collection was created by Kate Willaert for HalloweenCostumes.com and is titled ‘Cereal Killers.’ These spooky breakfast cereals illustrations are colorful, quirky and cute in an effort to appeal to both children and adults.
