Xfinity's Making Its Super Bowl Ad Debut with Jurassic Park... Works

Original Jurassic Park cast members—Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum—star in Xfinity’s 60-second Super Bowl spot. Created in partnership with the iconic franchise, the ad asks: "What if Jurassic Park had reliable Wi-Fi?"

Instead of the climactic story people know and love, this commercial's version of events wonders what might have happened if the theme park's IT department had simply plugged in an Xfinity connection, unknowingly preventing a disastrous power grid failure and the escape of fearsome dinosaurs as a result.

In person, activations in San Francisco will promote the Xfinity Imagine That platform, and Jurassic Park fans can look forward to an interactive Tyrannosaurus rex billboard and a collaboration with Lyft.
