Parasitic Roadkill Plushies

Joshua Ben Longo Creates Morbidly Cute Cuddle Toys

When you think of plush toys, you probably think of something cute and cuddly, but it seems like Joshua Ben Longo holds a very different perception. His latest art installation happens to be a dead dog (possibly of the roadkill kind) with spewing internal organs and parasite companions.

Strangely enough, Joshua Ben Longo's rather disgusting creation is still morbidly adorable. Perhaps we're wired to have fuzzy feelings for plush toys no matter what they look like. The light pastel color choices help in maintaining this feeling.

We've actually featured the Brooklyn-based artist's work before. Check out a past post on Joshua Ben Longo's 3D monster art here.
