John Wardle Architects have built the Queenscliff Residence in Australia, located right on the water with stunning views of the ocean and surrounding area. An interesting feature that the designers chose to put in is a woven timber look on the outside of the facade, so that it even looks like the house is ready for battle.
Inside, the house is mostly made up of timber, along with massive windows to ensure that the owners have a full view of the ocean. From the dining room table, one can peer out and see ships sailing by, which isn't a bad way to spend your Sunday. Most rooms also have an open concept, making the space look naturally quite big and giving plenty of square footage for entertaining guests.
