Snail-Shaped Electric Motorbikes

The Johammer Bike Looks Like a Snail But Rides Like a Gazelle

The Johammer is a snail-shaped electric motorbike that is among the first electric motorbikes to boast a range of 200 kilometers when fully charged. The fantastic battery range is made possible by a 12.7 kilowatt-hour battery stack.

While the battery range is without a doubt the bike's best feature, it is its bizarrely unique design that first catches the eye. The motorbike doesn't have a traditional dash display, instead integrating the speedometer and charge indicator into a panel located on the rear-view mirrors.

The Johammer comes with two sets of footrests, one designed for a standard upright riding position and another placed further forward for more laid-back cruising. The placing of additional footrests is made easy by the fact that the Johammer doesn't have any foot controls or pedals, with its brakes operated from the handlebars much like a scooter.
