Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the Japan-based multinational corporation that is renowned for its motorcycle division, has gone ahead with the launch of the 'Sugomi' Z e-1, a naked electric motorbike that is designed to combine a minimalist design and reliable performance.
The 'Sugomi' Z e-1 is an electric motorbike that happens to make use of a five-kilowatt motor. This particular two-wheeler offers an electric boost mode that allows for the attainment of top speeds in the region of 99 km/h, with riders able to switch between road and eco modes. Riders can also stay in control of the motorbike's power levels by virtue of its physical socket or indeed the dock that can juice up batteries that have been separated from the vehicle.
Elsewhere, this motorbike features handy connectivity features via smartphone linkages.
Set to be initially unveiled in the British market, this electric motorbike is well and truly designed for urban navigation.
