Mixing a shot of whiskey into a beer is an age-old trick conceived by drinkers looking for a quicker buzz, but thanks to Jim Beam and Budweiser, that concoction now arrives in a pre-mixed bottle.
The alcoholic product from this new partnership is simply called “beer and a bourbon shot,” and will be available for a limited-time throughout the month of September in celebration of the 85th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition. According to the brands, this drink will achieve be "brewed with two-row barley and then aged on Jim Beam bourbon barrel staves." This process helps the drink achieve an oak flavoring that's complemented by notes of vanilla and caramel.
