Jacques Ferrier Architects has conceived a remarkable bridge in Choisy-lo-Roi, France. Hovering above a busy section of train tracks, the distinctive perforated aluminum bridge glows green. Modeled after the wrapping of the Pont Neuf bridge by Christo and Jeanne-Claude this sturdy structure looks almost malleable from afar.

The gridded barrier gives a fabric-like quality that is further emphasized at night when the bridge's luminosity can be fully appreciated. Jacques Ferrier Architects wanted to emphasize the “poetry of useful objects” with this project. Decide for yourself if you think they succeeded.
