Floral Splashed Water Photography

Jack Long Produces Flower-Like Creations Using Liquids

Jack Long is the king of photographing water at ludicrous speeds to produce mesmerizing visuals that play tricks on viewers’ eyes. In this series, he carefully splashed colored water in a manner to create flower-like designs. How he manages to even do this once is beyond me, but to be able to make an entire collection of images out of it just demonstrates how virtuosic a photographer Long truly is.

Even more stunning, Jack Long splashes water to also create pots and vases for each flower. When you take that, along with the green stems and prismatic petals of each flora-mimicking photo, into consideration, these pictures are truly mind-blowing.

Jack Long explains that these resulting photos took months and hundreds of trials in order to produce. Not only is the man an artistic genius, he’s also patient.
