Starkly Sophisticated Menswear

The J. Crew Spring/Summer 2014 Collection is Snazzy and Modern

American multi-brand specialty retailer J. Crew has released its J. Crew Spring/Summer 2014 Collection that features a wide range of men's pieces for the transitioning cooler months. The collection includes earthy colors, particularly inspired by what J. Crew explains is an outdoor or "park" theme.

With regard to tailoring, the fit appeals to those more interested in skinny slim pieces. The actual garments themselves range from classic-looking light jackets, bombers, blazers and outer shells, alongside more modern collared crewnecks and long sleeved tops. Colors include grays, indigos and softer tones. Some of the most eye-catching pieces include the tan-sleeved and lighter outerwear jackets alongside a tropical-inspired pair of shorts.

The J. Crew Spring/Summer 2014 Collection is sophisticated and pays homage to classic pieces, spiced with a modern edge. Be on the lookout later this year for the official release.
