iTunes Match Syncs Songs in User's Library to Online Listening

Apple Music is expanding and streamlining its music subscription service platform to incorporate a feature called iTunes Match that will sync music in the user's existing library to their online library. This way, iTunes users have their music in one place without having to delete duplicates, carry over music or re-purchase.

The iTunes Match feature is an audio fingerprint tech feature that is able to us AI technology to survey the user's library for them and ensure the songs are matched to their subscription service. The platform is able to scan through music files and detect matches at a human-critical level. This means the AI feature will be able to detect audio files from the same artist and album and even be able to distinguish the similarity between studio and live recordings.
