Toronto recently hosted the Invictus Games 2017 ceremonies in celebration of wounded warriors who competed in various sporting events. The week-long event was kicked off with an opening ceremony, which featured a star-studded line up of performers, including Alessia Cara, The Tenors, and Sarah McLachlan to name a few.

The event's most notable athletic competitions included archery, cycling, and golf among others, with a total of 17 nations competing for titles in the various events. Its closing ceremony was another crowd favorite, with appearances by Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams and Kelly Clarkson, along with Prince Harry who took the stage to commend the perseverance and strength of those competing, while highlighting the inclusive event's positive impact on participants and audiences across the globe.
