Konsta Punkka manages to capture intimate animal photography in which his wild subjects are shown approaching unusually close.
The wildlife photographer captures many of these images while patiently waiting in cold environments. By refusing to rush the process and making sure that the emotional and physical health of the animal remains intact, the artist manages to capture intimate animal photography that is steeped in trust between him and his subjects. The images are beautiful -- with baby foxes, birds, deer, mice and squirrels all shown in various poses that range from hungry to curious.
It is difficult to capture photos of wild animals even from afar, so this photographer has pulled off an incredible feat by managing to do so in such an intimate way.
