Pet-Taken Camera Initiatives

Nikon Asia Launches Heartography with Snapped Photos by Pets

Nikon Asia unveils its new Heartography initiative, which attaches a camera to a dog and the camera mechanism gets activated when they get excited. Once the heart rate goes up, a picture is captured and the heartbeat is also transmitted through Bluetooth to the 'Heartography SmartCase' under the camera.

The montage of photos captures pure photos and often when the dog crosses paths with other dogs and animals. Nikon explains that not every single photo is a part of the collective video “Due to Grizzler’s active running and jumping on his adventure, many shots were blurred—reflective of Grizzler’s energy!” Some of the other photos include pairs of shoes or when the dog catches glimpses of its food.
