Solar-Powered Educational Kiosks

The Hello Hub Internet Kiosk Will Help Educate More Nigerians

The Hello Hub is a solar-powered kiosk, designed by the charitable organization Projects for All, that is being rolled out in Nigeria as a means to spread the Internet and educational software. Each kiosk features two touchscreen computers hooked up to the Internet and loaded with educational software to help both children and adults learn and get online.

Each Hello Hub comes with seating for up to eight people. Its computers are built using standard off-the-shelf components and are cased in durable waterproof and dust-proof enclosures. The computers are equipped with remote access software, allowing for troubleshooting from afar.

Each member of the community is given their own login and password, which when entered loads a personalized desktop with their unique files and activities saved.
