The original ad spot took a more humorous approach to gain the attention of its demographic at the time. Poking fun of some of the greatest contributions men have made, including tiny dog clothing, pro-wrestling costume designs, or giant taco salad inventions. In the Internet-age, this ad has been revamped, and the commercials now shout out 'Internet Heroes' including social media managers, the Snapchat lens creator, people who still use their middle school emails, online encyclopedia editors and more.
The ad puts a playful spin on a vintage campaign, appealing to an inter-generational demographic.
