Road Scholar, an educational travel platform for those over the age of 55 has recently unveiled a series of inter-generational travel programs that enable a grandparent to travel with a grand child.

Some of the curated travel plans offer adventure-based trips, tours and lesson plans including walks through the Grand Canyon, art and history classes in Berlin, surfing in Hawaii and even Italian river boat adventures. To promote the program, Road Scholar has introduced a contest which is sending one lucky pair on an all-expenses paid vacation to a currently undisclosed destination.

The contest serves as an extension of the brand's motto which rejects the mantra of "aging gracefully" by encouraging seniors to "age adventurously." Through this contest grandparents and grandchildren are offered a cost-effective way to connect with one another, and explore the world.
