Subway Music Exhibits

An Interactive David Bowie Exhibit is Featured in a NYC Subway

David Bowie is considered to be one of the most iconic musicians of all time, and in memoriam of his legacy, a Spotify interactive David Bowie exhibit has opened in the New York City subway system. Running until May 13, 2018, the interactive exhibit will see the artist's visage and works plastered along the city's Broadway-Lafayette subway station. The David Bowie exhibit is being organized by Spotify and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and will showcase pieces that honor Bowie's life, art and work.

Each piece shown in the subway station will feature artwork and an informational sign with commentary from Bowie. The pieces will also contain links to experience his music through the Spotify app. In addition to the subway artwork, the David Bowie exhibit will also feature limited-edition MTA metro cards featuring many of Bowie's personas including the iconic Ziggy Stardust.
