To make the shopping experience even more immersive, Woolworths South Africa has in-store video walls and LED displays. Their new location at The Mall of Rosebank was designed in collaboration with digital signage provider One Digital Media (ODM). 13 different "digital communication points" were installed for the store opening last fall.
An eye-drawing 3m by 3m LED display catches customers' attention as they walk by Woolworths. Inside there are another three smaller LED displays in different sections of the shop. There are also a variety of differently sized portrait screens throughout. Within the store, the Country Road group has concessions as well with even more in-store video walls.
This multimedia approach to interactive retail takes digital advertising to another level, truly adding to the sensory brand experience.
