Instant Brands has announced the launch of two new products: a new connected multicooker called the 'Instant Pot Pro Plus' and an app titled 'Instant Brands Connect.'
In order to develop the app, Instant Brands partnered with tech company Drop. Together, the two brands created an app that allows users to select and customize recipes, as well as monitor cooking progress, delay cooking start times, receive notifications, and adjust steam venting methods. Users of the new app will be immediately offered access to a catalog of 1500 recipes.
For now, the app is only compatible with the company's new Instant Pot Pro Plus model, though Instant Brand plans to roll out a variety of smart cooking devices in the following years that work via Instant Brands Connect.
