Instagram's new feature allows users to archive unwanted photos instead of permanently deleting them.
This new feature was included in an update Instagram unveiled earlier this week. Users are able to select photos from their feed and remove them from public view. The app will save the selected images in an archive that can restore the image if needed with likes and comments attached. Instagram's new feature is perfect for those who may want to temporarily remove select posts (like for a job interview) or for those who work hard to curate a cohesive feed (a practiced followed by many bloggers and social media personalities).
Instagram hopes this will change how its users interact with the app.
