In his illustrated series of 'Instagram for Beginners,' Belgrade-based artist Djordje Djukanovic pokes fun at the overuse of hashtags, as well as the stereotypical photos that so many users are prone to posting. This includes things like photos of airplane windows, cats, feet, abs and of course, food.
Each of the illustrations is accompanied by multiple lines filled with hashtags, ranging from fairly open-ended tags like "coffee" and "bikini" to sillier ones like "tagsforlife" and "abstagram." Although these drawings make fun of the way people use the photo-sharing social media app, the illustrations are really not that far off from the way many users new and old do happen to use Instagram on a daily basis.
