The 'Inis' Board Game is Rooted in Celtic History and Lore

Although not accurate in its representation, the Inis board game is a playful way for people to get involved in Celtic history and folklore.

The game is played by two to four players at a time, all with the goal of winning by being elected King of the Island – King Inis. There are three different ways players can achieve this position – by collecting more clan figures than any other player, by collecting at least six different territories, or by presenting in territories that have at least six shrines. The process requires the honing of several important techniques including "careful drafting, hand management, bluffing, good timing and a precise understanding of the balance of power."
