There are plenty of infused chocolates that exist across the confectionary industry, including many that boast spicy ingredient additions. Even so, Emerald City Foods is introducing a new take on the concept by infusing its chocolate bar products with Huy Fong Foods' iconic spicy Sriracha sauce.
The chocolate bars are offered in both milk and dark varieties, with a hint of Himalayan sea salt and Sriracha powder for added heat. Fans of the hot sauce will instantly recognize the packaging for the chocolate bars, which boasts a familiar signature rooster logo and a red, white and green color scheme.
While there have been plenty of savory Sriracha snacks unveiled over the past few years, sweet snacks—including the pairing of chocolate and the hot sauce—has remained unexplored for the most part.
