"We feel that the best way to 'give' is to provide opportunities for people to work and hone their crafts," CEO Evan Streusand told Given Goods Co. In other words, this fashion-focused company isn't about a one-for-one model, or a business model based on donations, which are essentially hand-outs, but rather, it strives to create a sustainable model that promotes economic development, which in turn can foster human development.
