Dubbed Janinge, the Ikea chair collection had to satisfy a number of requirements. The Stockholm-based studio says, "IKEA asked us to design something specific enough for a home that would withstand the international tests for public seating." These included designing for strength, durability, impact, drops, tilts and stability. The IKEA chair collection adheres to these and more including style and, of course, function.
