At least, not anymore. This branch has decided to create steel receipts to accompany products that have warranties as long a 25 years.
Dubbed Stål Kvitto, the steal receipts boast an impact-resistant coating and the words on it are permanently inscribed by laser. Although its unclear whether IKEA Austria will be using these steel receipts for a while, it is clear that they take their warranties very seriously.
