The Igloo Satellite Cabin manufactured by Australia's Icewall One is a pre-fabricated remote shelter that can withstand subzero temperatures, high winds, ice, snow, and lunging bears.

The transportable pods are available in many colors. The prefab igloos were originally designed for scientists as shelter during remote exploration and research missions. Multiple Igloo Satellite Cabin units can be linked together using sets of extension panels to create connecting tunnels. They are becoming attractive as shelters for eco-tourism as well.

Implications - Each Igloo Satelite Cabin contains the same specifications, they are 3 meters in diameter and 2.1 meters high. They entire igloo is bolted together and fastened to the ground by 8 wire tie-down lines attached to tent pegs.

Now that sounds thorough. The Igloo Satellite Cabin is available now.
