Butcher Billy is a renowned freelance designer and illustrator based in Brazil whose recent 'Guitar Heroes' series shows iconic artists in the form of retro comic book characters.

His series features musicians like Joan Jett, Prince, Bob Dylan and more. He also uses lyrics and song names from some of the iconic artists' most well-known releases to go along with each image.

Each of the musicians is likened to their superhero counterpart in terms of appearance, style or personality. This means that Kurt Cobain is depicted as Thor with his long blonde locks and Joan Jett is shown as Wonder Woman along with The Runways song "I Wanna Be Where The Boys Are" next to her.
