The Nuvolari Lenard 'Thunder' hybrid water taxi is a modernized version of the iconic Venetian water taxi that aims to offer exceptional style in a sustainable manner. The boat has a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system that will allow for emissions-free cruising through the city along with diesel capabilities when more power is required.
The 30-foot boat offers space for up to 14 passengers and has an elegant design that will call to mind the iconic watercraft that have been used in Venice for decades.
Carlo Nuvolari spoke on the inspiration behind the Nuvolari Lenard 'Thunder' hybrid water taxi in a press release saying, "As Venetians, Dan and I feel a strong connection with the city and have experienced first-hand the damage that is being caused to its delicate structures, through air and noise pollution as well as physical erosion."
