In case you have not yet heard that there is a giant storm headed for New York city, maybe these Hurricane Sandy photos will catch your attention of just how intense this is going to be.
Hurricane Sandy made its way through the Atlantic Ocean on Monday and weather forecasters are predicting it to hit major cities even harder later today. The storm has the potential to effect millions of people living in the northeastern states with floods and power outages.
Some of these photos already show the devastation it has cause. Some streets have started to fill up with water and waves are reaching dangerous levels. One photo even shows a car stuck in a street filled with water up to the top of the car's tires.
