Hummus, the quintessential Mediterranean dip or spread, is the focus of an all-new hummus pop-up restaurant from Sabra called Whirled Peas. At the NYC spot, people are invited to experience hummus like never before with everything from tacos to bowls of Thai pho soup.
To create a unique experience, Sabra teamed up with a group of chefs with diverse culinary and cultural backgrounds. Some of the participants include James Beard Award-winning chefs, cookbook authors and Food Network stars.
As Sabra's hummus is as simple as it can be, prepared with a base of chickpeas, tahini, oil, garlic and other plant-based ingredients for flavor, it has the potential to lend itself well to enhancing other dishes like salsa and guacamole.
