Hummer recently donated an H3 to British artist Matthew Harrison, who then created this modern-meets-medieval vehicle that rolls on wooden wagon wheels. It's currently being shown at London's ZOO Art Fair and represents the present and the afterlife of the vehicle in one single form.
Implications - When past meets present in artistic creation, the result can be very intriguing. As the aesthetics clash and combine, the contrasting features make the creation a piece to marvel at. Onlookers become drawn in by the oddity they see before them as different eras collide. By incorporating this old meets new idea to actual products, designers can create items that people will want to purchase and show off.
