This Halloween, the streaming site Hulu released a unique 'Huluween' campaign where it immersed viewers in horror-themed content.
The activation included a short-form anthology series with six individual episodes, three of which have been released and are titled Let Us In, Unexplained Phenomena, and The Projectionist. The series are available in virtual reality and online, and each features a different subject. The Huluween campaign also released a series of "scenics," which are extended Halloween-themed videos of various eerie scenes – much like the popular 'Yule Log' videos that people play during the holiday season.
This immersive campaign sets an excellent example of the unlimited potential of streaming brands to shift the way in which TV is understood and consumed.
