The Hugh Hefner Bavaria Beer Ad Exposes a Secret
Jordan Sowunmi — May 30, 2011 — Marketing
It’s no secret that the Playboy Mansion has reached mythic proportions over the last 50 years, and a new Hugh Hefner Bavaria Beer ad takes a comedic look at demystifying the urban myths that surround the fabled home.
In the new Hugh Hefner Bavaria ad, we see the Hef in his natural habitat -- reading the newspaper while two girls have a pillow fight on his bed, dealing with the issues associated with having small dogs and even smaller wardrobes, shooting tennis balls at several Playmates as they attempt to learn the game, as well as hosting one of those pool parties his household is considered legendary for hosting.
In the end, though, none of these activities are what he really wants. The Hugh Hefner Bavaria ad takes a turn for the surprising when he escapes the daily crush of life at the Playboy Mansion and disappears to his secret hideaway.
