Artist Howard Lee creates divine photorealistic paintings of delicious candies using only paint and colored pencils. The images are so realistic that the consumer might immediately reach out a hand, just to test their luck at snatching a sweet treat.

The artist utilizes social media to post images and hyper-accelerated time lapse videos of his creations. The videos are a way for Howard Lee to show his talents because he will create confectionery treats while incorporating one piece of real candy. This allows the consumers to seek out the candy that doesn't belong. For example, he created an image of jelly beans pouring out a bag and placed one real jelly bean alongside the fake ones.

This artist’s talents are a combination of immaculate accuracy and playful tricks that allow the audience to be part of the experience through the interactive scavenger hunts.
