Mountain Wellness Expansions

Hotel Hubertus Spa Expansion is a Wellness Renovation

Hotel Hubertus spa expansion is a wellness renovation that introduces a redesigned lobby, bar, and panoramic sauna to the 75-room resort in Italy's Dolomites. Continuing the architectural language established by the cantilevered Sky Pool and the Heaven & Hell sauna, the new spaces emphasize minimalist forms, locally sourced timber, and uninterrupted mountain views. A panoramic sauna beneath a green roof features herringbone-patterned wood interiors and floor-to-ceiling glazing overlooking the surrounding valley, reinforcing the resort's connection to its alpine setting.

The new renovation is done in a way which replaces a series of smaller wellness cabins with expanded facilities for guided sauna infusions, bio-based treatments, and steam baths. Inside, the updated lobby incorporates contemporary furnishings, natural materials, and a suspended fireplace while maintaining the restrained aesthetic found throughout the property.
