UK-based Kepak Convenience Foods has launched the Rustlers Hot Naans range of microwaveable snacks. The range comprises Rustlers Tikka Chicken and Rustlers Jalfrezi Chicken varieties. Both products are made using char-grilled chicken and hand-pulled naan, and include a sachet of sauce.
The Hot Naans line was launched in response to consumers' growing interests in cuisines from around the world. The Hot Naans line aims to give customers the opportunity to enjoy classic Indian foods without having to go spend their precious time and money going to a restaurant or cooking elaborate dishes at home.
Indian food has always been hugely popular in the UK, with Indian ready-meals accounting for 67% of all ethnic ready-meals sales in the UK. This product is sure to be a success with Rustlers' target audience of people aged 16 to 34, who have been shown to be open to trying new products and cuisines.
