Horrific Human Skin Art

Andrew Krasnow's Disturbing Corporeal Creations

For the past 20 years, Andrew Krasnow has been making taboo sculptures out of human skin donated to medical science.

Andrew Krasnow's work is extremely controversial because it includes lampshades made out of human flesh which are very similar to items found in the Buchenwald concentration camp.

When asked about his work, Andrew Krasnow noted that it is a comment on human cruelty, American ethics and morality.

Implications - The skin Krasnow uses to make items such as flags, boots and maps are made from both men and women. He uses the skin just like leather is used. If you are quite squirmish, you may not want to look at the featured images.
