Modern Geometric Leisure Homes

Horma Studio Designed the DM House with Terracotta Tiles

Horma Studio is a Valencia-based architecture firm. The company's latest product is the DM House in Valencia, Spain, which is created with geometric shapes and sharp angles. DM House appears as fragmented from finished in white lime render and contrasting terracotta-colored tiles.

The architecture studio aimed to create a variety of transitions between the interior and exterior spaces. The DM House is located near the coast of Puerto de Sagunto. While its exterior shape is geometrically-informed, the interior fosters an open-plan living area for leisure activities. In addition, the home incorporates guest rooms on the second floor and plenty of space for lounging. To give DM House a shifting geometry, the architects and designers at Horma Studio used contrasting curved and rectangular walls.
