The Hopper App Is Expanding to Monitor Hotels Worldwide

The Hopper app will now also have hotel bookings, where the app previously only dealt with airfare. Just like its airfare service, the hotel prices will also fluctuate depending on demand -- meaning that when hotels are busy prices rise, as they are less in demand prices will lower. The AI technology will include over 27,000 hotels across more than 200 countries around the world that can be booked by users across 1,600 cities.

The hopper app can also "watch a Hotel," which involves forecasting and tracking the hotel's prices. This feature allows users to monitor a number of different hotels and enables them to book when prices match their budget.

The App's AI system is able to learn about the user's hotel preferences in order to make better recommendations for later bookings.
