The 'Hoop' and 'Staff' lamps from the Far-flung Studio are a series of illumination fixtures that explore the idea of how old raw materials can be transformed into something new to maintain relevancy.
Each light is characterized by its bright red support frame along with a concrete support to lend stability as well as a touch of Brutalist minimalism. These concrete supports can also be used as a makeshift seating solution that will enhance the functionality of a space without opting for conventional furniture.
The 'Hoop' and 'Staff' lamps feature illumination components that can be swiveling around to provide targeted or passive lighting, which makes them suitable as either direct or indirect light options. The 'Hoop' unit is accented by the 'Foam Chair,' which is crafted with rebonded foam to further accentuate the upcycled nature of the decor.
