To try these homemade snack bars yourself, you will need cayenne pepper for the spicy element, as well as finely chopped dried mango. Other ingredients required for the granola bar recipe include rolled oats, Kashi Go Lean cereal, sliced unsalted almonds and pumpkin seeds. The nutty snack could also be made with puffed rice or a different high fibre cereal alternative.
