There is no better way to wake up after too much turkey during the holidays than with a cup of coffee and some of this delicious homemade coffee cake. Made with leftover cranberry sauce and greek yogurt, the treat was created by Jessica Merchant from the food blog How Sweet It Is.
Described as the best holiday breakfast ever, the recipe calls for real cranberry sauce instead of the canned and jellied version. The leftover side is then swirled into cake batter along with a cinnamon streusel. The seasonal bundt cake also features plain greek yogurt.
This homemade coffee cake is not only appropriate after Thanksgiving, but leading up to and after any other holiday dinners during this time of year.
