This striking family home in Portugal goes by the name of Casa Varatojo, featuring an unusual shape that makes it stand out in the natural green surroundings. The Casa has an unconventional polygonal shape, which takes advantage of the natural elements like wind and sunlight that the house is exposed to.
The different floors of the building are made with various materials like cork and terracotta, bringing a cozy warmth to the design. One of the most interesting aspects of the design is a grassy feature that blocks in the infinity pool on the upper level of the building, making it look as though the natural elements go hand-in-hand with the residence in Torres Vedras.
